About the event
Join us for an intimate and immersive concert celebrating the release of The Long Way Home — the Brothers Koren’s live album with The Kin.
This will be more than a concert; it’s an experiential journey of music, voice, and remembrance — a gathering where song becomes medicine, and voices rise as the song of the sovereign self. Held at Meditation Mount in Ojai, this special event coincides with the sixth anniversary of the passing of Thorald’s son, Jack. A sacred tree planted in his memory along the Peace Walk at Meditation Mount is where we’ll gather to honor life, healing, and the enduring power of song.
Following the concert, we invite you to stay for tea and a closing circle from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, creating space for reflection and connection.
Come be part of this living moment — a return home through music, memory, and the compelling voice of the Soul that unites us all.
Isaac and Thorald Koren—known to many as The Brothers Koren—are award-winning musicians, transformational voice educators, and facilitators devoted to helping people reclaim their most authentic expression. Their story began as The Kin, the internationally touring band that carried them across five continents and onto stages with artists such as Coldplay, P!NK, Rod Stewart, and Bon Jovi.

This celebration marks a return to their roots with Long Way Home - a new album by Brothers Koren & The Kin, honoring the path that brought them from global stages, through profound personal transformation, to a mission centered on healing through voice, story, and song.
Their shift from commercial success to purpose-driven work emerged from lived experience: both brothers navigated significant mental and emotional health challenges that reshaped their understanding of what it means to be fully expressed. Music became not just a career, but a lifeline—and ultimately the foundation of their voice-positive movement.
As founders of The Songwriter’s Journey and Your Big Voice Foundation, they have guided thousands—including executives, creatives, educators, and underserved youth—to reclaim their voice, soften perfectionism, and dissolve long-held fear patterns through practices rooted in music, psychology, and embodied creativity. Their work has been welcomed by institutions such as Esalen, Kripalu, Omega, Google, AMEX, and Columbia University.
They are also the creators of The Journey, a Webby Award–winning documentary series and forthcoming television show exploring the healing, humanizing power of voice.
Through keynotes, workshops, community programs, and sonic immersion experiences, The Brothers Koren champion a world where every voice is heard, valued, and free. Long Way Home is both a musical offering and a milestone on that mission—an ode to where they’ve been and a devotion to where they’re going.
