A Spacious Heart: New Moon Renewal with Sarah Tuttle

In a safe space—through the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation—relax and open your heart bringing a sense of renewal, upliftment, and peace. 

As an Iyengar yoga teacher and yoga therapist, Sarah will guide a practice that brings a calm yet uplifted state of being. This offering begins with yoga and breath that calms and centers, bringing a meditative mind to the asanas that follow. At this time of the new moon, we practice in a way that clears stagnant energy and opens the heart space—asanas with movement release blocked energy and bring vitality, while asanas held in stillness open the chest and heart, making space for compassion. With a gentle and subtle practice of pranayama, a deep peace comes. We follow by sending this peace, renewal, and upliftment to all beings.

***This workshop includes a 20-minute break for rest and reflection. If weather permits, we will end the workshop outside at our expansive viewpoint sending blessings to all beings in all directions.

We provide yoga mats, and we encourage bringing your own props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets to enhance your practice and ensure your comfort.

Sarah Tuttle started her practice of Iyengar Yoga in Ojai in 1984 and has continued for 41 years. She became a Certified Iyengar Teacher (CIYT) and Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). 

A mother of four and grandmother of three, Sarah knows firsthand the transformative benefits a yoga and meditation practice brings.

With a keen attentiveness to her student's individual needs, she creates a safe and enriching environment in classes, workshops, and retreats.

Sarah is deeply connected to the land and sky of Ojai, and the illumination it brings to one's spirit.

Arrival guidelines: The Meditation Mount gate will open at 1:30 PM offering you time to arrive, connect with the land, and settle in. To honor the sacred container we create together, the Meditation Mount gate will close at 1:45 PM, with no late entry permitted.

To preserve Meditation Mount as a sacred space, we have a policy of no pets, no picnics and no alcohol.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Should we need to cancel an event or visitation experience, we will notify you via email within eight hours of the scheduled event time and issue a full refund.
