Awakening the Heart: A Gentle Yoga & Meditation Workshop with Alana Mitnick
Join us for a seasonal yoga and meditation workshop with Alana Mitnick.
Time & Location
Feb 07, 2026, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Meditation Mount, 10340 Reeves Rd, Ojai, CA 93023, USA
About the event
Yoga invites us into a more loving, conscious, and honest relationship with ourselves, with one another, and with the natural world. In this workshop, we’ll slow down and turn inward—drawing awareness toward the subtle body through breath, sensation, and mindful movement.
Together, we’ll explore what it feels like to move gently from a place of self-compassion and embodied ease. Through simple asanas, somatic practices, and guided meditation, we’ll soften habitual tension, calm the nervous system, and create space for a steady, nourishing flow of energy.
This heart-centered practice is designed to help you reconnect with your inner landscape, awaken intuitive awareness, and prepare the body-mind for meditation. All levels are welcome—come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, open, and refreshed.
We provide yoga mats for your use, though you're welcome to bring your own mat and any additional props—such as blankets, bolsters, or pillows—that will support and enhance your comfort during your practice.
