Gatherings at the Mount: Living the Principles and Pathways of Creative Meditation

We invite you to deepen your connection with Meditation Mount through our new bi-weekly offering, Gatherings at the Mount: Living the Principles and Pathways of Creative Meditation.  This event will be led by Jodie Skalla, M.A. in Spiritual Psychology.

At Meditation Mount, we harness the focused energy of our collective mind and heart in meditation to inspire the reconstruction of society based on spiritually-rooted Principles and Pathways.

• The Pathway of Right Human Relations leads to the Principle of Goodwill.
• The Pathway of Group Endeavor leads to the Principle of Unanimity.
• The Pathway of Spiritual Approach leads to the Principle of Essential Divinity.

Every two months, we will focus on a different Principle or Pathway, focusing our group energy toward understanding and embodying these concepts.

In this group, we will:

• Gather with curious, open-minded individuals interested in personal and communal harmony.
• Share our questions, curiosities, and discoveries in a supportive and safe environment.
• Anchor new ways of thinking and viewing our lives, community, and the world within a structured setting.
• Deepen our connection with ourselves and each other.
• Expand our community as we learn and grow together.

These gatherings are experiential, offering the chance to apply the Principles and Pathways in our lives and to reconvene to share our insights and experiences. The gatherings will be held in a "council" style in the Auditorium, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to participate and be fully engaged.

We will begin our group exploration on Tuesday, July 9th, focusing on the Principle of Unanimity.

Local to Ojai, Jodie Skalla is a lifelong learner, who has been on the path of spiritual exploration for most of her life.  After having a successful career in the film industry, she eventually returned to her first love of psychology, spirituality and creativity by receiving a Masters in Spiritual Psychology.  She is a dancer, writer, painter, meditator and loves the playful exploration of the deep mysteries of life.  She enjoys creating community and the magic that can happen when people come together.

The Meditation Mount gate will open 30 minutes before the event, allowing guests to center themselves and connect with the land. The gate will close 30 minutes after the event starts, with no entry permitted thereafter.

To preserve Meditation Mount as a sacred space, we have a policy of no pets, no picnics, and no alcohol.  Thank you for understanding and honoring this request.
