About the event

Connect with your mind, heart, and body at Meditation Mount on Saturday, August 26th at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a meditation class incorporating movement, breath, and sound. This transformational experience will be led by Lyndsay Pennington and Kelly Jean Anderson in our beautiful Auditorium.

The class will begin with centering breathwork and a guided meditation. We’ll then incorporate movement with a gentle yoga asana by Lyndsay, as Kelly Jean creates live soundscapes to move to with a variety of magical instruments.

The journey continues with a voice activation practice where we will learn the healing power of our own voices through vocal toning.

The class will conclude by using the breath as a tool to dive deeper into self exploration, while immersed in sacred healing resonance and sound vibrations.

Some of the sacred sounds and instruments you will be experiencing are; 32-inch Symphonic Gong, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, Shruti Box, Harmonium, Chakapra, Buffalo Drum, Steel Tongue Drum, Ocean Drum, Various Percussion, Rattles, Chimes, Vocal Melodies, Chants and Mantras. These healing vibrations penetrate deep into your being, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and restoring a sense of wholeness.

We would love for you to join us on this journey to Move, Breath, and Resonate.

The Meditation Mount gate will open at 12:30 pm and the sound will begin at 1:00 pm giving guest time for community and to explore the grounds.

**To preserve Meditation Mount as a sacred sanctuary, we have a policy of no pets, no picnics, and no alcohol. Thank you for understanding!

Lyndsay Pennington is a yoga & meditation teacher, healing arts practitioner and spiritual seeker living in Ojai, CA. A former media executive and event producer for nearly two decades, Lyndsay used yoga and meditation to help cope with a high-stress corporate environment. After finding deep healing from anxiety and depression through her own practice, she went on to study Yoga & Healing Sciences at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.

Since then, it has been her intention to help others heal and connect with their true nature. Her teaching style incorporates meditation, yoga, energy work, breathwork and sound healing to honor and support each individual’s spiritual journey.

Whether holding space for seasoned yogis or beginner practitioners, Lyndsay creates a safe and accessible environment to explore, reconnect and uplift. Her goal is to meet others wherever they may be in their path to help develop personal discovery and a deep connection with their soul.

In addition to teaching and supporting others, Lyndsay is also the Executive Director of Meditation Mount. Always a student herself, she continues to learn and grow on this upward spiral of spiritual evolution. She has so much gratitude to her teachers, mentors and guides during this incarnation.

Kelly Jean Anderson is a singer, musician, and artist. She clears, connects, and creates healing vibrations through transformative group or individual experiences using sound, breathwork, and vocal toning. Through her own healing journey, she has learned to release energy from the body using intention, breath, and sound vibration. By opening our hearts, we heal ourselves and heal each other.

Kelly Jean is also the Program Manager at Meditation Mount.
