The Experience of Being: An Afternoon Retreat with Katharine O'Neal
Welcome! You are invited to join us at Meditation Mount for an afternoon retreat.
Time & Location
Aug 23, 2025, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Meditation Mount, 10340 Reeves Rd, Ojai, CA 93023, USA
About the event
We warmly welcome you to join us for a transformative afternoon exploring the profound question of what it means to simply be. Through creative meditation, quiet contemplation, time spent in nature and mindful journaling, we'll gently delve into the essence of our individual experience of being.
Embrace this sacred opportunity to slow down from life's constant motion, reflect deeply, and engage with fellow seekers in meaningful dialogue. We'll thoughtfully examine the concept of being vs. doing, along with the practical application of our 6 Pathways and Principles as they relate to our shared human experience of being:
The Pathway of Right Human Relations leads to the Principle of Goodwill
The Pathway of Group Endeavor leads to the Principle of Unanimity
The Pathway of Spiritual Approach leads to the Principle of Essential Divinity
This retreat offers a true sanctuary for deeper self-inquiry and authentic connection, allowing participants to explore their rich inner landscape while surrounded by the natural beauty of Meditation Mount. Tea and light refreshments are lovingly provided.
We provide yoga mats , chairs and blankets for your comfort during the retreat, though you're welcome to bring your own mat and any additional props—such as meditation cushions or personal blankets—that will support and enhance your personal retreat experience. Please dress comfortably in layers and bring a journal for our mindful journaling sessions.
We look forward to exploring together the individual experience of being!
